APOR

Pour a daydream in a cup,
A spoon of sugar sweetens it up.
The stinging honey is abrupt,
But soon it will become a salty touch,
And your taste will vanish.

Your devotion is worn and weary,
Chocolate cold suppresses those teary
Final seconds where you nearly
Swallowed the savory truth,
The savior in segmented form,
Weakening yearly.

Now the solution is diluted
You chose to spread the pain
Into things convoluted
The tinted mirror.
